In my opinion, typhoon days are necessary, but the government should make decisions more carefully. When the typhoon is really strong, staying at home keeps people safe and reduces traffic accidents. On the other hand, if the weather is fine, a typhoon day off may cause inconvenience, such as makeup classes and delayed work. From my own experience, I once went to school on a day with heavy wind and rain, and it was difficult to ride a scooter and walk with an umbrella. Therefore, I think the authorities should use more precise weather information and maybe make decisions later at night or early in the morning to match the real situation better.

The European Commission is taking action to tackle risks stemming from low-value imports sold via non-EU online retailers and marketplaces hosting non-EU traders. The Commission encourages actions, among others, in the areas of customs and trade, such as launching customs controls, consumer protection and the Digital Services and Digital Markets Acts.
Last year, around 4.6 billion low-value consignments, i.e., goods with a value not exceeding €150, entered the EU market equaling to 12 million parcels per day.
